  •  Team Challenge: An introductory environment that allows kids to play without an emphasis on instruction or results.
  • Team Tournament: An innovative format designed to gain match experience and demonstrate good sportsmanship.
  • Junior Team Tennis: A more competitive team format providing kids and teens the many benefits of playing singles, doubles, and mixed doubles matches

For Players Ages 6-18

USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) is the largest national youth tennis league (ages 6-18) and is played in all 50 states. JTT is a competitive, level-based program where Juniors are divided into age groups and skill levels. At the youngest levels a different type of ball (QuickStart) is used. At each level, the scoring structure may change to fit the skill level and endurance of the players.

Visit the Youth Tennis Fort Worth website to learn more about Junior Team Tennis in our area or email Sarah Swanston – League Coordinator, North Tarrant County.

When your child is ready to compete, there is no better way to start than with tournament play.  Tournaments are great for kids who want to test their game, get out on the court and make new friends along the way. There are local events for kids of all levels—entry-level, intermediate and advanced—and as age and ability advance, there are also national level tournaments.

Mid-Cities tournaments are entry-level non-sanctioned tournaments held throughout Fort Worth and the surrounding cities. They are hosted by the Fort Worth Professional Tennis Association. These entry-level tournaments are meant for beginner and Challenger level players. Champ and Super-Champ level players are NOT eligible to play.

Competitive Tournament Play:

As players advance in age and ability, there are junior tournaments to help take your game as far as you want to go. There are tournaments for kids of all levels – entry-level, intermediate and advanced –and as age and ability advance, there are also national level tournaments.
